Genesis Moves to New Sustainable London Office at 100 Fetter Lane

On 31 October, Genesis officially moved to its new London office at 100 Fetter Lane, a building that exemplifies the future of sustainable workplace design. Known as Edenica, the building was selected for its pioneering approach to sustainability, aligning seamlessly with our company’s values and long-term vision for a more sustainable future.

Leading the Way in Sustainable Construction

Edenica is the first new building in London to adopt materials passports, setting a new benchmark for commercial developments across the UK. Over 80% of the materials used in its construction have been digitally logged, enabling efficient maintenance and supporting the reuse of components in future redevelopments. This circular construction approach significantly reduces the demand for new, carbon-intensive materials by extending the lifespan of existing ones.

The building also is operationally net zero, fully electric, and features a rainwater harvesting system on the roof to reduce water consumption. Even the terraces have been designed with biodiversity in mind, featuring bug hotels to support urban ecosystems.

Edenica’s innovative design and commitment to sustainability have not gone unnoticed. It was recently named “Best New Place to Work” at the BusinessLDN Building London Planning Awards 2025, recognising its role in shaping one of the capital’s most forward-thinking developments.

Designed with wellbeing and sustainability at its core, Edenica is a future-proof, next-generation workplace. It uses 30% less energy than current standards require, has achieved an EPC A rating, WiredScore Platinum, and is targeting BREEAM Outstanding.
